With support from the Gates Foundation, CMC is providing tools and guidance to help California educators select and implement high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) in mathematics.

Family/Community Engagement
Parents, guardians, and families play an essential role in students’ success in mathematics—every bit as important as teachers! A parent’s experiences, attitudes, and understandings (or misunderstandings!) about math can strongly shape a child’s confidence and perspective.
The Family/Community Engagement section is designed to help parents, guardians, and families support students’ mathematical learning—and to help teachers build stronger connections with families.
